For three decades, the Supreme Court Historical Society has hosted the Supreme Court Summer Institute (SCSI) with Street Law, Inc. The two weeklong sessions immerse educators from across the country in the work of the Supreme Court and the federal judiciary. Each day, legal experts join participants to share their real-life experiences and answer questions about the judicial process. Highlights include a private Courtroom lecture, a moot court based on a Supreme Court case and guided by experienced advocates, and the opportunity to attend a non-argument session of the Court. Teachers will walk away from the program with high-quality, classroom-ready resources and strategies for teaching the judicial branch.
